Adjufix pressure washer 44 mm is an indispensable accessory for a professional and stable installation of window and door frames. The washer is attached directly to the Adjufix frame sleeve and functions as a pressure distributor between the end of the sleeve and the wall material. By spreading the contact pressure over a 44 mm large surface, the washer prevents the sleeve from being pressed into porous substrates during readjustment or settlement in the structure.

The pressure distribution washer is specially developed for two critical installation situations:

How to install the Adjufix pressure washer

• Preparation: Check that the frame sleeves are installed and centered in the frame according to the supplier's instructions.
• Installing the washer: Place the pressure washer over the outer end of the Adjufix sleeve so that the flat contact surface faces outwards towards the sill/wall.
• Positioning: Lift the frame into place in the opening. The washer now lies between the sleeve and the wall construction.
• Adjustment & Anchoring: Screw in the cam screw/fixing screw through the sleeve into the pre-drilled base. Adjust the frame with the Adjufix key to perfect plumb and level. The washer ensures that the sleeve is not pressed into the Leca or lightweight concrete wall during tightening.
