Adjustable Volume and Customizable Alarm Duration

The HomeSiren can be easily configured directly via the Ajax app to suit your specific living conditions and security requirements. You can adjust the sound volume across three fixed levels: from a lower setting of 81 dB (ideal for small apartments or testing) up to a very sharp 105 dB signal that is guaranteed to wake everyone in the house. Additionally, the alarm duration can be customized flexibly between 3 seconds and 3 minutes per trigger.

System Status Indication and External LED Support

Beyond sounding acoustic alerts, the HomeSiren can operate as a visual status indicator for your security ecosystem. The device's built-in LED can be configured to blink when the system is armed or disarmed, and to flash periodically while armed—serving as an excellent active deterrent against potential criminals. The siren is also equipped with an external contact on the back, allowing you to connect a wired LED status light to be mounted outside a door or in a window to display the alarm status externally.

Secure Jeweller Radio Protocol and Up to 5 Years Battery Life

The indoor siren communicates with your Ajax Hub via the secure, encrypted Jeweller radio protocol. This proprietary technology offers a stable wireless range of up to 2,000 meters in line of sight and effectively protects against signal jamming and interception. The HomeSiren arrives completely ready for operation with pre-installed batteries that deliver an exceptionally long battery life of up to 5 years, making the device virtually maintenance-free.
