The Ajax DoorProtect White is a compact and highly efficient wireless magnetic contact designed to secure your property's primary entry routes. Operating as the first line of defense in your Ajax security system, it instantly detects if a door or window is opened and transmits a lightning-fast alarm notification to your hub. Thanks to its slim profile, reliable high-end British-made reed switch, and sleek white finish, the DoorProtect mounts seamlessly onto any door or window frame without disrupting your interior design.

Advanced Opening Detection with Dual Magnets

The DoorProtect functions by monitoring changes in the magnetic field. To provide maximum flexibility during installation, the detector comes complete with two separate magnets:

• Large Magnet: Features an activation distance of up to 2 cm. It is ideal for thicker doors or setups where the frame and the door leaf do not sit completely flush.
• Small Magnet: Features an activation distance of up to 1 cm. It is perfectly suited for narrower window frames or tight spaces where a highly discreet installation is required.

Smart Wired Input for External Sensors

A unique and highly practical feature of the Ajax DoorProtect is the integrated terminal located on the back of the device. Here, you can wire a third-party external sensor via an NC (Normally Closed) contact. This allows you, for instance, to hook up a heavy-duty wired roller shutter sensor in a garage or an extra sensor on the same window block, letting the DoorProtect pass the signal wire-free to your alarm system.

Uncompromising Radio Technology and Up to 7 Years Battery Life

The magnetic contact communicates via the cryptographically secure Jeweller radio protocol, ensuring a stable and interference-free connection up to 1,200 meters away in line of sight from your Ajax Hub. The system effectively counters radio jamming and runs continuous automated health checks (pings). Furthermore, energy consumption is so tightly optimized that the pre-installed battery delivers an exceptional service life of up to 7 years, dropping maintenance tasks to an absolute minimum.
