Safety and care in brief

• Placement: Make sure the machine has at least 10 cm of free space around and above the air intakes during use.
• Warning: Never fill the basket with pure oil as this poses a direct fire risk. Never immerse the appliance housing or electrical parts in water.
• Greasy food: Avoid cooking extremely greasy ingredients, such as sausages, in the appliance.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Let the appliance cool down for approximately 30 minutes before handling or cleaning it. Clean the appliance regularly, inside and out.
• Clean the outside and inside of the appliance with a damp cloth and dry with a soft, clean cloth.
• Never use abrasive cleaning agents or sponges.
• Remove the basket to allow the appliance to cool down more quickly. Clean the baskets and grills in hot water with washing-up liquid and a non-abrasive sponge. Dry thoroughly before use.
• Clean the heating element inside the housing (you can see it after pulling out the basket) with a cleaning brush to remove any food residue.

Note: The baskets and grills are dishwasher safe. To extend the life of these parts, hand washing is recommended due to the aggressive components in many dishwasher detergents.
