Home MD-231 is an innovative LED downlight for recessed mounting where you don't need external drivers at all. Thanks to the fact that the luminaire is connected directly to 230V, you save both time and space during installation - a dream for both the DIYer and the electrician.

Quick installation and smart rewiring

MD-231 is designed with a focus on user-friendliness. It is equipped with a flexible quick-connect terminal block (4x2.5 mm²) and is fully rewirable, which makes it easy to connect several spotlights in series in the ceiling. The luminaire also has an integrated strain relief that is perfect for both regular cable and 16 mm flexible hose.

Create the right atmosphere with light control

With its pleasant light and good color rendering, this spotlight is just as suitable in the kitchen and living room as in the bathroom thanks to its IP44 rating. You can easily adjust the brightness according to the occasion; the downlight is fully dimmable with a trailing edge controlled transistor dimmer (RC), which provides soft and flicker-free light control.
