Installation tips

• Measure and mark (CC 128 mm): Measure the distance of exactly 128 mm between the center points of the holes and use a spirit level or angle to get the markings perfectly straight.
• Tape before drilling: Place masking tape over the drill points to prevent the drill from slipping or the surface layer from peeling.
• Pre-drill from the front: Use a 4 mm or 4.5 mm wood drill bit and hold a scrap piece of wood against the back of the door to avoid splinters when the drill breaks through.
• Check the thickness of the front: Make sure the door or drawer front is 11–21 mm thick so that the included fixing screws will fit.
• Align the threads by hand: Push the screws through the back and tighten the first few turns by hand so that the screw does not cut into the aluminum threads of the handle at an angle.
• Tighten with a hand screwdriver: Use a regular screwdriver instead of a strong screwdriver to avoid stripping the threads.
• Use a drilling template for multiple doors: Make the work easier and ensure identical placement throughout the kitchen with a standard drilling template.
• Check existing holes when replacing: Measure that old holes have CC 128 mm to be able to reuse them directly without new drilling.
