Gas filter SR 297 (Class 1) from Sundström is developed to provide maximum protection in demanding work environments. This versatile ABEK filter is compatible with both Sundström half masks and full masks, making it a flexible choice for professional use.

Choosing our Sundström SR 297 ABEK1

With a combination filter of the type ABEK you get a wide range of protection that covers everything from solvents to acid gases and ammonia.

  • Type A (Brown): Protects against organic gases and vapors as well as solvents with a boiling point above +65 °C.
  • Type B (Gray): Protects against inorganic gases and vapors (e.g. chlorine, hydrogen sulfide and hydrogen cyanide).
  • Type E (Yellow): Protects against acid gases and vapors (e.g. sulfur dioxide and hydrogen fluoride).
  • Type K (Green): Protects against ammonia and certain amines (e.g. ethylenediamine).

Tip for complete protection: When working where particles or liquid mist are also present – such as when spray painting or cleaning – simply combine SR 297 with particle filter SR 510 P3 R for complete protection against both aerosols and gases.
