Description

The Malmbergs MD-991 AC LED downlight is connected directly to 230V without the need for an external driver. This saves time and space in the suspended ceiling and minimizes sources of error during installation. With protection class IP44, the luminaire is approved for damp environments and is ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, hallways or under the eaves outdoors. The warm white light of 2700K provides a pleasant, inviting atmosphere and the spotlight is fully dimmable with a trailing edge controlled transistor dimmer (RC) for optimal light control.

Smooth and safe installation

The luminaire is designed for recessed mounting with a 70 mm hole and a low installation depth of only 44 mm. It is supplied with a quick-connect terminal block (4x2.5 mm²), is re-wireable and has integrated strain relief adapted for cable or 16 mm flexible conduit. The MD-991 is also both S-marked and double insulated.
