Buying guide & Installation tips

• Choosing an LED driver: The strip requires a 24V DC constant voltage driver. To correctly dimension the transformer, calculate 5 m x 5 W/m = 25 W. Always add at least 15–20% safety margin (choose a driver of at least 30W, e.g. 30W–50W 24V DC).
• Light control and dimmer: To dim the loop, you can either use a primary-side phase-dimmable driver (leading/trailing edge) connected to a standard wall dimmer, or a control unit for DALI, Zigbee, Plejd or Casambi on the secondary side.
• Cooling and mounting: Although 5W/m generates limited heat, mounting in an aluminum profile is recommended. The profile not only provides a nice finish and mechanical protection, but also acts as a heat sink, which extends the life of the LEDs.
