Description

LK Heat Exchanger Package -10 is a complete and reliable solution for water-based underfloor heating systems where there is a need to separate a specific heating circuit from the property's primary heating system. The unit is specially designed for frost-sensitive spaces that are partially heated or completely shut down during the winter months, such as conservatories, winter gardens, garages, sheds and studios. by separating the circuit, it can be filled with a glycol-mixed liquid, which provides effective frost protection without affecting the entire house's heat carrier.

Easy installation and flexible adaptation

The exchanger package is delivered as a compact unit and is designed for direct and easy installation on the right side of the LK Heating Circuit Distributor RF. The integrated control valve is equipped with an adjustable Kv value, which makes it easy to fine-tune the flow and adapt the unit to the specific system's power requirements and size.

Complete equipment for safe system separation

The unit is delivered fully equipped with all necessary components for safe and independent operation of the secondary underfloor heating circuit:

  • Efficient heat exchanger: Ensures safe heat transfer between the house's primary heating system and the frost-protected secondary circuit.
  • Circulation pump: The unit's energy-efficient circulation pump drives the glycol-mixed heating medium around the underfloor heating loops.
  • Pressure and safety equipment: Integrated pressure gauge for pressure monitoring, expansion vessel for volume expansion and a dirt filter that protects the components from particles and extends the life of the system.
  • Self-acting temperature control: Control valve with capillary tube-connected contact sensor and self-acting thermostat for stable temperature maintenance.

Weather-controlled and outdoor temperature compensated regulation

For projects that require optimal energy efficiency and automatic comfort adjustment, LK Heat Exchanger Package -10 can be supplemented with LK Control v.3-RA. This option provides outdoor temperature compensated heating control and includes:

  • Control unit for intelligent control
  • Valve actuator for precise flow control
  • Outdoor sensor for quick adaptation to weather changes
  • Flow sensor for accurate temperature control
