Masking Tape 74338 Rough Surfaces 50mmx50m Tesa

Description

Tesa 74338 is a durable, green paper masking tape designed to provide sharp paint edges and reliable adhesion where regular painter's tape fails. Thanks to its malleable paper backing, it adapts smoothly to irregular and structured surfaces as well as curved lines. The tape has high UV resistance and can be left outdoors for up to seven days without drying out or leaving adhesive residue. Made from FSC-certified paper from responsibly managed forests and with a solvent-free adhesive - the sustainable choice for both professional painters and DIYers.

Benefits and Features

• High adhesion to rough surfaces: Securely adheres to structured substrates such as exposed brick, facade stone and raw surfaces.
• UV-resistant for up to 7 days: Traceless removal without adhesive residue or tearing, even in direct sunlight.
• Sharp color edges: Very good color anchoring minimizes the risk of color bleeding under the tape.
• Smooth application: Lightly creped paper with 13% stretchability makes it easy to mask around bends, corners and edges.
• Easy to use: Easily torn by hand without the need for scissors or a knife.
• Environmentally friendly: Paper from controlled sources and completely solvent-free.

Primary areas of application for Tesa 74338

• Exterior facades and masonry: Masking on uneven mineral substrates such as exposed brick, sand-lime brick, plaster and concrete.
• Window and door painting: Tight and reliable demarcation against rough facade surfaces and wooden frames during outdoor renovation.
• Curved surfaces and contours: Masking around arches, rounded windows, curved plinths and organic shapes thanks to the tape's elasticity (13%).
• Protection during facade washing and surface treatment: Temporary protection of adjacent details against splashes during cleaning, priming and facade painting.
• Short-term masking in direct sunlight: Projects where the tape needs to be exposed to weather and UV light for up to 7 days without burning or leaving adhesive residue.
• Rough planed or unplaned wood: Painting and varnishing rough wooden panels, fences and balcony railings where standard tape loses its adhesion.
