Description

Metro Sånett 55 E (Type 655) is a reliable and powerful water heater designed for smaller hot water needs. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it is ideal for concealed and smooth floor-standing installation in a cabinet or directly on a bench - perfect for the summer cottage, guest house or smaller household. The heater is delivered completely complete with a fitting set that includes a safety valve, mixing valve and shut-off valve, which guarantees a safe and smooth installation from the start.

Smart design against limescale and corrosion

The model is equipped with a powerful 3 kW electric heater that is cleverly placed in a dip tube. This design effectively reduces the sensitivity to limescale formation, which significantly extends the service life. When installed on a 3-phase mains connection, the heater provides maximum power (3 kW), but it can also be connected to a 1-phase mains connection via a standard socket and then provides a power of 1 kW. The water tank is made of high-quality, enamelled pressure vessel steel. This provides extra strong protection against corrosion and makes it particularly suitable for areas with high chloride content and hard water. For the absolute best service life, the chloride content should not exceed 250 mg Cl/l and the pH value should be between 6 and 9.

Note: For water types with a high pH value, we recommend stainless steel water heaters from Metro Therm or Focus instead.
