Metro Therm Water Heater Minett 30L Connection Down Enameled Steel
Description
The Metro Therm Minett 15 E is an excellent choice for the summer cottage, the holiday home or the remote garage where it is difficult to run long hot water pipes. With its smart design and fast recovery time, this small water heater is just right for hand washing, washing dishes or an occasional quick shower.
Optimal protection against limescale and chloride-rich water
The Metro Therm Minett 15 E is equipped with a water tank made of glass-enamelled steel, which provides extremely durable and long-lasting protection against corrosion. This makes the model particularly suitable for areas with their own well or lime-rich water, such as:
- Oland and Gotland
- Osterlen
- Uppsala and Norrtalje
Important to know about water quality: The enamelled pressure vessel steel is optimised for water with a chloride content of up to 250 mg Cl/l and a pH value between 6 and 9. For very high pH values, a stainless steel water heater from Metro Therm is recommended instead.
Easy installation and high flexibility
No matter what your conditions are, the Minett 15 E fits in. It is available with both top and bottom pipe connections and can be easily mounted on the wall or hidden in a cabinet with the included wall brackets.
The water heater is supplied complete with a fitting set (safety valve, mixing valve and shut-off valve).
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Is the hot water in the Metro Therm Minett 15 E enough for a shower?
Yes, the hot water is enough for a shorter, active shower time of just under 3 to 4 minutes (the water heater provides approximately 38 liters of 40-degree water). Thanks to the powerful immersion heater, the water heater recovers quickly – in just over 20 minutes the hot water is ready again with a 2-phase installation.
What is the output of the water heater?
It depends on how you choose to connect it:
- Fixed electrical installation (2-phase): Provides a maximum output of 3.6 kW for the fastest possible heating. Supplied with a 1.5 meter long electrical cable without a plug.
- Plug (1-phase): Provides an output of 1.2 kW.
