Description

TA Tworett Calypso TRV-3 radiator coupler is a factory-assembled and quality-assured connection unit, specially developed to ensure a fast, smooth and reliable installation in modern water-borne heating systems. The coupler is optimized for radiators with a c/c 550 mm connection distance in closed 2-pipe systems and is delivered complete with a sub-connected distributor (RSD 802), connection pipes and a rotatable, straight valve part.

The integrated Calypso TRV-3 valve part offers stepless and precise pre-setting within the flow range of 5–178 l/h. This gives the installer full control over the system's hydronic balancing directly at the radiator, effectively preventing overflows, eliminating disturbing flow noise and maximising the overall energy efficiency of the system. The construction is made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant brass with a durable nickel-plated surface finish that can withstand operating pressures up to PN10 (10 bar), ensuring a long and maintenance-free service life in both residential and commercial properties.

Installation and assembly instructions

• System compatibility: Only intended for closed water-borne heating systems (2-pipe).
• Pipe connection: The distributor is mounted against the supply and return from below or from behind depending on the pipework.
• Adjustment: The flow setting is easily made on the upper part of the TRV-3 valve using an adjustment key or standard tools before mounting the thermostatic head.
• Thermostat compatibility: Fits all thermostatic heads and actuators with standard thread M30 x 1.5.
