Care instructions & Safety when carving

• Store safely: Always keep the knife sheath buttoned when the knife is not in use - this protects both the sharp edge and little fingers.
• Cleaning: Rinse the knife with lukewarm water and wipe it dry after use. Stainless steel is easy to care for, but does best when kept clean of resin and moisture.
• Edge protection: Cut and carve exclusively in wood. Contact with stone, bone, soil or metal will dull the edge prematurely.
• Adult company: Children should always use the knife under the supervision of an adult until the correct carving technique and safety routines are ingrained in their brains.
