Shuttle Lock 420K Ultimate 230mm Abus

Description

The Abus 420K Ultimate (230mm) is a robust U-Lock designed to withstand tough theft attempts in urban environments as well as at commuter parking lots. With German locking technology and thoughtful design, you get a level of security that provides peace of mind in everyday life.

Designed to resist tampering and bolt cutters

The lock is equipped with a 14 mm parabolic shackle made of specially hardened steel, making it extremely resistant to cutting tools, twisting and impact. The advanced lock cylinder provides high protection against picking and manipulation. The shackle's length of 230 mm makes it easy to lock the frame and wheels to fixed objects such as bike racks, fences or posts.

Smooth and rattle-free transport with USH bracket

A heavy lock should be easy to carry. With the included USH bracket, you can quickly mount the lock directly on the bike frame (fits round tubes with a diameter of 15–35 mm). The bracket holds the lock firmly in place so you don't have to worry about annoying rattling during your bike ride.

Areas of use

• Standard and commuter bikes: Perfect for daily commuters who park outside offices, train stations or bike racks at schools and universities for longer periods.
• E-bikes and pedelecs: Suitable as a primary lock for mid-range e-bikes or as an approved additional lock in combination with a fixed frame lock.
• Gravel, racing and hybrid bikes: The 230 mm shackle height accommodates thicker frame geometries and rims with a deeper profile without scratching the paintwork, thanks to the protective coating.
• E-scooters: Locks securely through the folding mechanism, the handlebar post or dedicated attachment points in the chassis to fixed objects.
