Description

Fresh F100 Thermo is a thermostatically controlled fresh air valve for wall mounting that provides automatic, energy-efficient and draft-free supply air ventilation in homes. The valve automatically adjusts the air flow according to the outdoor temperature: it is fully open at temperatures above +10 °C, gradually restricts the flow when it gets colder, and closes completely at -5 °C. The internal valve part is equipped with condensation insulation and a washable standard filter (dust protection/insect filter). The included modular pipe system is easily assembled with a press fit to fit wall thicknesses up to 320 mm.

Installation and placement

• Placement: Install the valve high up on the outer wall, approximately 10–20 cm below the ceiling. Ideally, place it directly above a radiator (heating element) so that the incoming fresh air mixes with the rising warm air (convection current) for maximum comfort and minimal draft.
• Drilling: Make a round hole in the wall with a diameter of 105 mm. Tilt the pipe slightly downwards towards the outside (approx. 5 mm) to prevent any rainwater from penetrating.
• Installation: Push the modular pipes and the external connector together with a press fit to the correct wall depth. Screw the inner part, press in the pipes and snap the external wall grille onto the outside.

Adjustment and maintenance

• Basic setting: The valve is delivered factory-set to close between +10 °C and -5 °C.
• Fine adjustment of temperature: Turn the valve cover to change the set temperature (1 turn = 4 mm = approx. 4 °C shift). To restore to the factory position, turn the cover until a click is heard.
• Filter cleaning: Clean or replace the filter 1-2 times a year. Unscrew the cover counterclockwise, wash the filter in lukewarm water with mild soap, let dry and reassemble by screwing it clockwise until it clicks.
