Description

Construction screw-W CorrSeal (WAF) is made of hardened carbon steel, with C4-classified surface treatment, CorrSeal for indoor and outdoor environments. The screw has a large head diameter, which provides a very high clamping force during installation. The head also has a very low construction height, which can be an advantage for installation. The screw is equipped with 1 fiber cut in the tip, which gives the screw a low screw-in torque in the wood material and minimizes the risk of cracking. Does not require pre-drilling. On screws that are longer, there is an extra milling thread directly after the regular wood thread, this to facilitate the installation of longer and thicker screws. The underside of the screw head is designed so that it will fit correctly when installed in beam and post shoes. The screw is equipped with a TX bit holder. Essve Construction Screw-W meets the CE requirement according to EN 14592.

Essve Construction Screw WAF is used for joining timber and for assembling fittings, post shoes and the like - an excellent replacement for French wood screws. The screw does not need to be pre-drilled, which reduces the torque during assembly. The larger screw head contributes to high clamping force and the screw has a slightly tapered design under the head to suit the assembly of beams and post shoes. The screw is ideal for timber, chipboard and plywood, but also for joining solid wood such as laminated veneer lumber, glulam and LVL. The longer screws have an extra milling thread after the regular wood thread to facilitate the assembly of coarser and longer dimensions of screws.
