Electric radiators or water-based radiators

Depending on your existing heating system in the house, you can choose either electric or water-based options:

• Electric radiators: Perfect for spaces without water-based heating, such as holiday homes, extensions, garages or individual rooms during renovation. • Water-based radiators: The optimal choice for houses with a central heating system, for example connected to a heat pump, pellets or district heating. Important considerations for your choice

Before ordering your new products, it is important to measure and calculate the needs of the specific space. Think carefully about the following points:

• Power requirement: As a general rule of thumb, approximately 60–70 watts per square meter are needed in a normally insulated Scandinavian house. Older houses with poorer insulation may require higher power to keep warm during cold winter days.
• Voltage (230V or 400V): For electric radiators, it is crucial to check whether 230 volts or 400 volts are drawn to the connection point. Keep in mind that permanent installation of 400V always requires a qualified electrician.
• Location and dimensions: Elements are best placed under windows to effectively counteract cold drafts. Measure the available space carefully in both height and width so that your new radiator fits perfectly in relation to the windowsill and floor.
