Hydropress & Accessories

Discover our wide range of hydropresses, pump units and accessories that ensure a safe and consistent water supply. A hydropress or pressure tank is a central part of fresh water systems for holiday homes, villas, agriculture and garden irrigation, among other things. By storing water under pressure, it reduces the number of starts for your water pump, which both extends the pump's life and reduces energy consumption.

With us you will find products from well-known manufacturers such as Beulco, Flamco and DAB. Whether you need a compact vertical model for tight spaces, a horizontal model with pump bracket, a complete pump unit or spare parts such as valve tubes and pressure switches, you will find the right solution at Velltra.

Choose the right hydropress and accessories for your water system

A hydropress is an effective and reliable solution for creating stable water pressure in buildings that are supplied via their own well or sea water. Unlike a traditional pressure tank, a hydropress has an internal rubber membrane (or bladder) that separates the water from the air space. This prevents air from dissolving in the water and means you don't have to refill air as often.

Benefits of using a hydropress

  • Gentle on the pump: Reduces the number of starts and stops, which results in less wear on your pump.
  • Even water pressure: Provides a stable flow in taps and showers without sudden pressure drops.
  • Energy-saving: Reduced electricity consumption thanks to fewer pump starts.
  • Compact format: Often takes up less space than older galvanized pressure tanks.

Different types of models and designs

When choosing a tank from our range, there are a few main categories to consider:

  • Standing (Vertical) hydropress: Perfect when floor space is limited. Stands stably on its own legs or feet.
  • Horizontal (Horizontal) hydropress: Many models have a ready-made mounting stand on the top where you can directly mount an overhead pump.
  • Pump automatic: A complete unit where the jet pump, hydropress, pressure switch and pressure gauge are already connected and ready for installation.
  • Accessories and installation kit: Valve pipes, pressure gauges and connection hoses required for safe installation and easy maintenance.

Important to consider before buying

  1. Volume and capacity: Choose the size according to the needs of the household. A smaller tank (e.g. 24 liters) is ideal for smaller holiday homes or irrigation, while larger households and permanent residences often need 50 to 100 liters to avoid too frequent pump starts.
  2. Location and space: Measure the space in the pump room or basement carefully and check whether a vertical or horizontal model is best suited.
  3. Connection dimensions: Check thread dimensions (such as G25/R25 or R20) so that the tank or accessories fit your existing pipework.
  4. Pre-pressure: Remember to check and adjust the air pressure (pre-pressure) in the tank regularly when the system is depressurised for optimal operation.
