Choose the right hydropress and accessories for your water system

A hydropress is an effective and reliable solution for creating stable water pressure in buildings that are supplied via their own well or sea water. Unlike a traditional pressure tank, a hydropress has an internal rubber membrane (or bladder) that separates the water from the air space. This prevents air from dissolving in the water and means you don't have to refill air as often.

Important to consider before buying

  1. Volume and capacity: Choose the size according to the needs of the household. A smaller tank (e.g. 24 liters) is ideal for smaller holiday homes or irrigation, while larger households and permanent residences often need 50 to 100 liters to avoid too frequent pump starts.
  2. Location and space: Measure the space in the pump room or basement carefully and check whether a vertical or horizontal model is best suited.
  3. Connection dimensions: Check thread dimensions (such as G25/R25 or R20) so that the tank or accessories fit your existing pipework.
  4. Pre-pressure: Remember to check and adjust the air pressure (pre-pressure) in the tank regularly when the system is depressurised for optimal operation.
