Description

Falu Vapen Plinth Paint Grey (3 liters) is a water-borne silicone paint of the absolute highest quality, specially developed to protect and beautify outdoor mineral surfaces such as house foundations, plinths, plastered facades and cast concrete.

The unique composition combines a high-performance silicone binder with light-fast pigments and micronized marble. This formula creates an extremely diffusion-open and microporous paint film that allows the substrate to "breathe" unhindered by releasing trapped moisture and water vapor from the inside, while forming a durable, water-repellent shield against rain, driving rain and ground moisture from the outside. This moisture balance effectively minimizes the risk of costly problems such as frost heave, blistering and peeling.

Thanks to the natural durability of the silicone binder, the paint has an exceptionally long lifespan and is resistant to both growth, air pollution and acidic environments in demanding urban environments. The result is a stylish, fully matt grey finish that retains its fresh, newly painted feel and gives the house a well-kept impression for many years to come – without the need for a separate primer.

Simple guide to painting with Falu Plinth Paint

• Preparation: Make sure the surface is clean, solid and dry. Brush off loose plaster, dirt, algae and old loose paint.
• Priming: Normally no separate primer is needed. For highly absorbent surfaces, the first coat can be diluted with a little lukewarm water.
• Painting: Apply the paint with a brush, roller or paint sprayer. Apply twice with an interval of about 2 hours (at 20 °C).
• Cleaning: Clean tools immediately after use with lukewarm soapy water.
