Smart user tips for best results

• Correct order in the jug: Always pour in liquid first and then add the solid ingredients. This gives the blades the best possible performance and a smoother result.
• Pulse function (P) for precision: For fast or delicate blending tasks, turn the control knob to position P and hold for a few seconds. Repeat until you have reached the perfect consistency.
• Hold the lid: Always place one hand firmly on the lid when crushing ice or blending harder foods.

Note: The appliance is optimised for liquid and semi-solid mixtures. It is not intended for whipping egg whites/cream, mashing potatoes, grinding meat or kneading dough. Also avoid extremely tough ingredients or large frozen pieces to protect the blades.

Operating time and safety

To protect the motor, the blender should be run for a maximum of 3 minutes continuously. Let the appliance rest and cool to room temperature (at least 10 minutes) before starting the next blending cycle.

Easy cleaning and maintenance

Keeping your blender fresh is easy, but requires care as the blades are very sharp.

• Quick cleaning: Fill the jug halfway with lukewarm water (max. 65 °C) and a drop of washing-up liquid. Run the pulse function (P) for a few seconds.
• Dishwasher safe: The jug, lid and removable blade assembly (without sealing ring) can be washed in the dishwasher on a program not exceeding 65 °C.
• Motor base care: Never immerse the motor part or blade assembly completely in water. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. The blade assembly can be unscrewed from the jug and should be wiped upside down, out of the reach of children.
• Avoid abrasive cleaning agents or rough scouring pads to preserve the fine finish of the blender.

Before first use

• Remove all packaging material.
• Clean the appliance according to the "Cleaning and maintenance" section.

When you use this product for the first time, you may notice a strange smell. This is normal when the motor is used for the first time. The smell will disappear after a few uses.

Warning

• Never blend boiling liquids.
• Never run the blender empty or with only solids.
• To reduce the risk of injury, never use the appliance without the lid and stopper in place.
• Do not remove the jug from the motor base while the appliance is in operation.
• Do not use the appliance if the blade assembly is bent or damaged.
