Description

Cosmo 10W Markspot is LightsOn's most powerful spotlight, specially designed to illuminate tall trees, shrubs, facades and architectural details in the garden. With a luminous flux of 1000 lumens and a focused beam angle of 24°, the light penetrates deep into tree crowns and creates dramatic shadows and columns of light without the light disappearing along the way. The luminaire is made of robust, powder-coated cast aluminum in a stylish dark gray finish that blends naturally with plantings and lawns. The integrated glare shield directs the light exactly where you want it and prevents direct view of the light source.

Placement tips for best light effect

• Vertical light column in the tree crown: Place Cosmo near the base of the tree and direct it straight up along the trunk to capture the structure of the branch structure and the full height of the crown.
• Wider facade and shrub lighting: Back the lamp 1–2 meters from the object and angle it diagonally upwards to create a softer, wider cone of light over larger foliage or walls.

How LightsOn Garden Plug & Play works

LightsOn is a modular 12V system where luminaires, cables and accessories are connected with waterproof quick connectors. The system can be expanded up to 50 meters from the power source.

• Choose luminaires: Combine Cosmo with bollards, deck lighting and smaller spotlights according to the zones of the garden.
• Calculate total wattage consumption: Add up the power for all lamps (e.g. 2 Cosmos at 10W + 4 Lunas at 5W = 40W in total).
• Choose the right transformer: Choose a transformer that can handle more than the total need (max. 85% load for optimal lifespan, which requires at least 50–60W for a 40W need).
• Plan cabling: Run main cables and branch cables from the transformer to each luminaire, with a range of up to 50 meters.

Complete with automation and dimming

• Light sensor / Twilight relay (art. 5023): Automatically turns on at dusk and turns off at dawn.
• Dimmer (art. 5094): Adjust the brightness manually.
• Smart Control (art. 5129): Manage lighting, scheduling and dimming directly via your mobile phone.
