Complete lower baffle plate (flue gas baffle) adapted for CTC V-25 wood-fired boilers, including the models CTC V25 FK and CTC V25 FG. The baffle plate has a crucial function in the fireplace: it delays and controls the path of the flue gases through the boiler so that maximum heat energy has time to be transferred to the boiler water instead of being lost out through the chimney. Over time, plates in the combustion zone are exposed to intense heat load, which can cause wear, deformation or burn-through. Tips when replacing the baffle plate

• Clean the fireplace: Remove soot and brush off contact surfaces and flue gas paths thoroughly before installation so that the new plate rests flat.
• Inspect the ceramic and grate: At the same time, check the condition of the grate and any ceramic stones in your CTC V25 (especially on the FK model with a ceramic combustion chamber) so that the entire combustion section seals and functions correctly.
