This high indoor module acts as the intelligent heart of the system and works seamlessly with CTC's air/water heat pumps in the CTC EcoAir series or liquid/water and ground source heat pumps in the CTC EcoPart series.

Thanks to the unique EnergyFlex system, you have full freedom of choice to connect a heat pump today and then easily expand with, for example, solar collectors, wood boilers, pellet stoves, water-jacketed stoves or pool heating without having to replace the tank. When supplemented with geothermal heating and the CTC EcoComfort accessory, the system can also deliver comfortable free cooling during the warmer months of the year.

Efficient hot water preparation and integrated electric auxiliary heater

CTC EcoZenith i255 H II is based on proven technology from the CTC EcoHeat geothermal heat pump and is equipped with a built-in buffer tank of a full 223 liters. The buffer volume gives the connected heat pump compressor optimal operating conditions regardless of the heating system and at the same time minimizes the risk of popping and noise in the pipe and radiator system.

Hot water preparation is carried out hygienically and maintenance-free via an integrated copper comb-flange coil. Since the tap water is heated continuously as it flows through, fresh, legionella-proof hot water with temperatures up to 65 °C in large volumes is guaranteed.

Inside the well-insulated and quiet chassis, the system's central components are factory-assembled and ready:

• Integrated step-controlled electric immersion heater of up to 15 kW (max. electrical data 15–18 kW, 3x400V) that automatically steps in as peak and reserve heat during high loads.
• Built-in shunt valve with automation that ensures that the exact supply temperature is distributed to the house's radiators or underfloor heating coils.
• Complete set with factory-assembled and enclosed circulation pumps.
• Integrated power limiter that prevents overloading of the main fuse.

Intuitive touch screen and smart connectivity

The unit is operated via a 4.3-inch color touch screen with an educational interface, clear symbols and selectable menu language. The control center analyzes the property's current heating needs and optimizes the balance between heat pump and additional electricity to keep energy consumption at the lowest possible level. When combined with a ground source heat pump, the system can provide energy savings of up to 80 percent.

With integrated internet connection, the system is conveniently controlled and monitored remotely via the myUplink app. The display can be mirrored directly on a mobile phone or tablet, and the system is prepared for voice control via Google Home and Alexa as well as for connection to the smart electricity grid of the future (SmartGrid).

With a width of 596 mm and a depth of 673 mm, the CTC EcoZenith i255 H II follows standardized appliance dimensions, making it easy to place next to wardrobes and tall cabinets in the laundry room or utility room. All pipe connections (22 mm) are collected at the top for a neat and clear installation. The unit's white, powder-coated steel front gives a stylish impression, and the included cover hides the piping for a neat overall result.
