Description

Create a complete, reliable and energy-efficient heating system with the CTC EcoZenith i255 L II. This low indoor module (1654 mm in height) is specially adapted for spaces with lower ceiling heights in basements, laundry rooms or boiler rooms, while offering the same intelligent control system and high performance as the higher model. The module acts as the central hub of the heating system and docks seamlessly with CTC's air/water heat pumps in the CTC EcoAir series or liquid/water and ground source heat pumps in the CTC EcoPart series.

Thanks to the well-thought-out EnergyFlex system, maximum freedom of choice is given to connect a heat pump today and easily supplement with external energy sources such as solar heat, water-jacketed stove, wood-burning boiler or pool heating in the future without having to replace the tank. When connected to ground source heat and the CTC EcoComfort accessory, the system can also deliver passive free cooling during the summer months.

Well-thought-out hot water production and built-in immersion heater

The CTC EcoZenith i255 L II is based on the same advanced principle as the CTC EcoHeat ground source heat pump and has an integrated buffer tank of 223 liters. The buffer volume provides optimal operating conditions for the connected heat pump compressor and at the same time minimizes the risk of clicking and structure-borne noise in the property's radiator system.

Hot water production is carried out via a flow-through coil (copper comb flange coil), which means that the tap water is always heated immediately when it is used. This counteracts stagnant volumes and ensures constantly fresh, hygienic and legionella-proof hot water with temperatures up to 65 °C.

Inside the well-insulated, quiet chassis, most of the necessary installation components are in place from the factory:

• Step-controlled integrated immersion heater of up to 15 kW (max electrical data 15–18 kW, 3x400V) that steps in as automatic peak and reserve heat in extreme cold.
• Built-in shunt valve with automation that ensures that the precisely calculated temperature is output to underfloor heating or radiators.
• Factory-mounted or included circulation pumps for quick and safe installation.
• Built-in power limiter that automatically monitors the home's main fuses.

Smooth color touchscreen and mobile control

The unit is controlled via a user-friendly 4.3-inch color touchscreen with clear symbols and selectable menu languages. The control center continuously optimizes the interaction between compressor operation and additional electricity to keep operating costs to a minimum. Together with a ground source heat pump, energy savings can reach up to 80 percent.

With integrated internet connection, the unit is smoothly monitored and controlled via the myUplink app. The screen can be easily mirrored to a smartphone or tablet, and the system is prepared for voice control via Google Home and Alexa and adapted for the electricity market of the future with SmartGrid support.

Compact format for lower ceiling heights

With dimensions of 596 mm in width, 673 mm in depth and a reduced height of 1654 mm, the CTC EcoZenith i255 L II is ideal where ceiling height sets limits. All pipe connections (22 mm) are conveniently located on the top of the unit for a clean and installation-friendly pipe arrangement. The white, powder-coated steel front provides a neat finish that blends well with the technical spaces of the home.
