Safety Tip: Always unplug the appliance before moving it or pouring out any remaining water. Do not let water come into contact with the ON/OFF button. The lid is very hot immediately after boiling – always lift by the handle!

Cleaning Instructions

Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning. The egg tray and lid can be washed in the usual way. However, the hotplate attached to the bottom of the appliance can only be cleaned with a damp towel. Never use abrasive cleaning agents. Do not use metal tools or steel wool as they may cause damage.

Do not immerse the appliance in water!

When there is excessive limescale on the heating plate, ordinary household vinegar can be used to remove the limescale. Dilute the vinegar with water (add 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water). Pour the solution onto the heating plate. Leave it to act for about 30 minutes. Then pour off the liquid. Wipe the heating plate with a damp towel.
