How to build your LightsOn 12V system

LightsOn Garden is based on a modular Plug & Play system. For a complete installation you need:

• Choose fixtures: Choose the lamps you need for the project (bollards, ground spotlights, facade lighting).
• Calculate the power: Add up the number of watts for all lamps. Example: 4 Luna 65 (4 × 5 W = 20 W) + 3 spotlights (3 × 3 W = 9 W) = 29 W in total.
• Choose a transformer: The transformer converts 230V to safe 12V. Choose a model that can handle your total power. For optimal lifespan, the transformer should be loaded to a maximum of 85% of the maximum power.
• For 29 W demand: Choose at least a 36W or 60W transformer (also provides space for future expansion).
• Plan the wiring: Choose extension cables and T-connectors/branch cables based on the dimensions of the garden. The system can be expanded up to 50 meters from the transformer.
• Add smart control: Complete with a Light Sensor (twilight relay) or Smart Control to schedule, dim and control the lighting wirelessly via app.
