Zenit Duo Lighting Deck LED 1W 12V 40lm IP67 Black LightsOn

Description

Create atmospheric architectural lighting in the garden with Zenit Duo from LightsOn. This compact and durable 12V LED luminaire in matte black aluminum casts a pleasant, warm white light in two directions (up and down). Perfect for recessed or surface-mounted installation on wooden decks, fences, walls, facades and steps where you want to combine modern design with increased safety and orientation in the dark.

Benefits of Zenit Duo 12V Garden Lighting

• Bidirectional light (Up & Down): Two 30-degree light beams provide beautiful columns of light that highlight wooden facades, stone walls and posts without dazzling.
• Safe stair and level marking: The light is directed discreetly downwards towards the ground and upwards towards the wall, which clearly marks steps, level differences and edges of the terrace.
• Completely flat back: Easy installation on flat surfaces. Only the cable exits on the back (requires a hole of approximately 21 mm diameter for the quick connection).
• Weatherproof (IP67): Constructed of robust powder-coated aluminium with an IP67 rating - withstands rain, snow, dirt and exposure to the harsh Nordic outdoor climate.
• Energy-efficient & long-lasting: Consumes only 1W and delivers 40 lumens of soft, warm white light (3000K).
• Dimmable for the perfect mood: Compatible with LightsOn manual dimmers or app-controlled Smart Control.

How the LightsOn 12V Plug & Play system works

LightsOn Garden is based on a safe and flexible 12-volt low-voltage system that you can install yourself without hiring a qualified electrician. All luminaires, cables and accessories are connected with waterproof screw connections.

Choose luminaires

Combine Zenit Duo with ground spotlights, spotlights and walkway lighting from the LightsOn range. All 12V products are fully compatible.

Calculate your total power requirement (Watts)

Add up the wattage of all luminaires to be connected to the same loop: Example: 8 Zenit Duo à 1 W (8 W) + 4 Luna spotlights à 5 W (20 W) = Total 28 W.

Choose the right transformer

The transformer converts 230V to safe 12V. To ensure a long service life, it is recommended that the transformer is loaded to a maximum of 85% of its maximum capacity:

• For a power requirement of 28 W: Choose at least a 36W or 60W transformer.
• It is advisable to choose a transformer with extra margin if you want to expand the lighting later.

Plan cables and branches

Rout main and extension cables where the lighting will be located. Use T-connectors or branch cables to divide the loop. The system can be extended up to 50 meters from the transformer without noticeable voltage drop.

Complete with control and automation

• Twilight relay / Light sensor: Automatically turns the system on at dusk and off at dawn or after a preset timer.
• Dimmer: Lower the lighting intensity for a more subdued evening environment.
• Smart Control (WiFi/Bluetooth): Control the lighting directly via the mobile app - adjust brightness, set schedules and automate according to sunrise and sunset.

Assembly and Installation Tips

Drilling: Since the back of the luminaire is flat, only one hole is required for the cable feed-through. Drill a hole with at least a 22 mm drill bit so that the quick connector (21 mm) easily passes through the wooden deck or wall panel.

• Wiring: Connect the lamp's 70 cm cable to the nearest branch cable under the wooden deck or behind the panel.
• Placement: For optimal light effect on posts or fences, a mounting height of approximately 40–80 cm above ground/deck level is recommended.
