Description

NIBE DVC 10-50WL is a modern decentralized mini-FTX ventilation unit that combines smart connectivity, energy-efficient heat recovery and adaptability for strong exterior walls. The unit ventilates individual rooms continuously and creates a comfortable air exchange without requiring fixed routing of ventilation ducts through ceilings or wall joists.

Smart control with integrated wifi

The W designation means that the unit is equipped with a built-in wireless network module. Via a user-friendly application on a smartphone or tablet, it is easy to monitor the airflow, adjust operating modes and set customized schedules. The wireless network also simplifies pairing between multiple units in the home. When connected, the units work in counter-phase so that one unit supplies fresh supply air while another removes used room air, which guarantees a balanced and stable pressure level in the home.

High heat recovery with ceramic accumulator

The unit works in intervals of approximately 70 seconds using a reversing fan. During the first interval, warm indoor air is sucked out through a highly efficient ceramic accumulator core, which stores the air's heat energy. The fan then reverses its direction of rotation and sucks in fresh outdoor air, which is preheated by the warm ceramic before being supplied to the living space. This process recovers up to 90 percent of the heat energy, which minimizes heat loss and lowers the property's heating costs compared to conventional fresh air valves.

Adapted for thick wall constructions

The L designation indicates that the unit is supplied with an extended telescopic feed-through pipe. This facilitates installation in external walls with a total wall thickness of 500 millimeters up to 700 millimeters. The flexible telescopic construction makes the adjustment precise and ensures a tight and stable connection between the indoor panel and the weatherproof external facade grille.

Efficient air purification and low energy consumption

The NIBE DVC 10-50WL is supplied with integrated coarse filters in class G3 for both supply air and extract air. The filters purify incoming outdoor air from particles, pollen and dust while protecting the heat exchanger against contamination. The brushless DC motor operates very quietly and has a minimal power consumption of only a few watts, which enables continuous operation around the clock without a noticeable impact on the electricity bill.
