Pellmax VX from Värmebaronen is a complete, modern pellet boiler designed for villas with high demands on operational reliability, economy and comfort. The boiler delivers up to 25 kW pellet output and is equipped with a built-in 9 kW electrical backup and an efficient copper flow exchanger that produces fresh hot water the moment you turn on the tap. Thanks to its low profile (only 1,480 mm high) and easily accessible connections, the Pellmax VX is the perfect choice even in boiler rooms and basements with limited ceiling height.

Function in pellet and electric operation

When firing pellets, the boiler water is heated partly by the pellet stove and partly by the flue gas tubes. When operating electrically, the boiler water is heated directly by the immersion heater. Water for the radiator circuit is taken out via a shunt valve, where the desired temperature for the radiators is obtained by mixing the hot boiler water with the cold water that returns from the radiator circuit. The electrical output is 9 kW in two stages, 4.5 + 4.5 kW. The power for pellets is 25 kW.

Area of application

Pellmax VX is a distinctive pellet boiler mainly intended for heating villas. The boiler is also equipped with electric heating, which is primarily intended as a backup if, for example, the pellets run out. However, Pellmax VX can only be used with electric heating if desired. The system is environmentally friendly, economical and easy to handle and requires minimal maintenance. High efficiency guarantees good fuel economy.
