Ifö Opus 100/175 is a stylish and timeless cylindrical luminaire, designed by the well-regarded design company Duoform in Åhus. With its stripped-down, minimalist silhouette and robust construction in genuine glazed porcelain, the luminaire combines Scandinavian design tradition with uncompromising durability and long service life. The high-quality porcelain is fully insulated, cycle-compatible and retains its white luster over time without fading, yellowing or being damaged by moisture and heat.

The threaded shade in matt opal glass provides a pleasant, glare-free and soft general light with even distribution, regardless of whether the lamp is mounted as a ceiling or wall luminaire. Thanks to its IP44 rating, tight silicone gasket and durable materials, the Opus 100/175 is created to withstand demanding conditions – from temperatures down to -30 °C up to +25 °C. This makes it just as obvious in bathrooms, sauna anterooms and laundry rooms as it is outdoors on the facade, under the eaves or at the entrance. With a standard E27 socket and support for relaying, it is also both flexible in choosing a light source and easy to install.

Tips for installation and use

For installation in bathrooms or outdoors, the included silicone gasket should lie flat against the glass edge to ensure that the IP44 seal is maintained. As the luminaire does not support surface-mounted wiring, a connection from a recessed box or pipe outlet behind the base of the luminaire is required. Feel free to complement with a warm white (2700K–3000K) omnidirectional LED bulb with E27 socket for pleasant general lighting.
