Installation tips

• Exact measurement and marking: Measure the desired height of the door leaf. Hold the bowl against the door and draw around the outer edge with a pencil as a guideline for the routing.
• Use the right tool: Since the bowl is recessed (diameter 50 mm), a cutout is required in the door leaf. Use a hand router with a suitable groove steel or a sharp chisel and hammer to carefully hollow out the recess.
• Check the routing depth: Mill or adjust the depth so that the flange or edge of the bowl is completely flush with the surface of the door leaf. If it extends, the door risks catching on the frame or wall pocket.
• Pre-drill the screw holes: If the bowl has screw holes for mounting, measure and pre-drill thin pilot holes with a small wood drill. This prevents the wood from cracking, especially if the door is made of solid wood or MDF.
