This is how you boil your eggs easily

• Prepare: Lift off the lid and egg tray. Pour 140 ml of water (2 measuring cups) onto the hotplate.
• Pierce: Make a small hole in the thick end of the egg with the egg piercer (use with care). Place the eggs in the tray with the narrow end down.
• Start: Close the lid, plug in and press the On/Off button.
• Keep track via voice and light: 8 minutes: Voice prompt for Soft boiled (1 light comes on). 10 minutes: Voice prompt for Medium boiled (2 lights come on). 15 minutes: Voice prompt for Hard boiled (all 3 lights come on).

Done! After 16 minutes, the appliance switches off automatically. Carefully lift the lid handle and rinse the eggs in cold water for easy peeling.

Tip for best results: Egg sizes may vary. Larger eggs (XL) may need to sit for a few minutes longer, while smaller eggs will be ready faster. You can remove individual eggs during the process if your family wants different hardness!

Cleaning instructions

Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning. The egg tray and lid can be washed in the dishwasher as normal. However, the hotplate attached to the bottom of the appliance can only be cleaned with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaning agents. Do not use metal tools or steel wool as they may cause damage.

Do not immerse the appliance in water!

When there is excessive limescale on the hotplate, ordinary household vinegar can be used to remove the limescale. Dilute the vinegar with water (add 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water). Pour the solution onto the hotplate. Leave it to act for about 30 minutes. Then pour off the liquid. Wipe the hotplate with a damp cloth.
