Vatette Coupling Nut Yellow

Description

Vatette coupling nut is the original nut for market-leading Vatette compression ring couplings. It is used together with a screw part and a compression ring to create a safe, tight and durable pipe joint in professional plumbing installations as well as for home repairs. The nut is available in a complete dimension range from Dy 8 mm up to Dy 54 mm.

Vatette compression ring coupling is developed for versatility and is type approved for connection to several different types of pipes:

• Copper pipes (hard, semi-hard and annealed – note! Support sleeve required for soft and annealed pipes)

• PEX pipes / Plastic and composite pipes (with correctly adapted coupling set/support sleeve)

Installation & Advice

• Cutting and deburring: Cut the pipe perpendicularly with a pipe cutter. Deburr the inside and outside of the pipe carefully to avoid damaging the coupling or the compression ring.
• Support sleeve: Always use a support sleeve when installing soft copper pipes and PEX pipes according to the applicable industry regulations Säker Vatten.
• Installation: Slide the nut and clamping ring onto the pipe, slide the pipe into the bottom of the coupling and tighten the nut by hand.
• Tightening: Tighten the nut with a suitable wrench/block wrench according to Vatette's recommended tightening torque. Avoid overtightening, as the coupling is already pre-lubricated.
