Installation tips for Toilet handle Beslagboden Diameter 51mm

  • Prepare the door: Remove the existing key plate or old accessories under the handle and check that the lock housing's rower square and screw holes are free of dirt and chips.
  • Check door thickness and rower: Measure the thickness of the door and make sure that the included square pin (rower) reaches properly into the lock housing from both sides without bottoming out bluntly in the knob.
  • Cut screws and pin if necessary: If the door is thinner than standard, through-bolt screws and square pin can be easily cut to the correct length with a hacksaw or pliers with cutters.
  • Align and position: Place the knob plate on the inside and the cover plate with emergency opening groove on the outside so that the screw holes line up straight through the door leaf and lock case.
  • Install with hand tools: Screw the parts together through the door alternately from both sides. Use a manual screwdriver to avoid overtightening or scratching the brushed chrome surface.
  • Function test before closing: Turn the knob back and forth with the door open to verify that the lock case and bolt move smoothly, and check that the emergency opening on the outside works without resistance.
