Description

This electrogalvanized chipboard screw in the dimension 4.2 x 42 mm is specially developed to offer a fast, reliable and durable assembly of board material to wooden joists indoors. Regardless of whether you are building with classic chipboard, MDF, plywood or similar wood-based boards, the screw's well-thought-out geometry ensures a stable contraction without the risk of play. The precise design of the tip provides an immediate bite into the wood, which reduces the need for pre-drilling and streamlines the workflow in both renovation and new construction.

Thanks to the integrated milling grooves on the underside of the countersunk head, the screw cuts a clean, precise groove through the wood fibers and sinks flush with the surface of the board. This prevents unsightly cracks, chips and protruding edges, creating a perfect base for subsequent surface treatments such as puttying, wallpapering or flooring.
