Description
chipboard screw is specially designed for fast and stable mounting of chipboard, MDF, plywood and other wood-based construction boards to wooden frames and joists indoors. Thanks to the integrated cutting grooves under the head, the screw head is countersunk flat and evenly into the board material without the surface cracking or chipping. This eliminates the need for separate pre-drilling in most standard applications and provides a smooth surface ready for puttying, wallpapering or flooring.
The screw is equipped with a Torx slot (TX20), which minimizes the risk of the bit slipping (cam-out), protects the tools and ensures a smooth and powerful torque during series assembly. The surface treatment with electrogalvanization (bright zinc-plated/FZB) provides basic protection against corrosion suitable for dry indoor environments (corrosion class C1).
