Description

Falu Vapen Falu Fasad is the modern generation red paint in the classic Faluröd color. This alkyd oil-based emulsion paint is designed to give the same beautiful, full-matt expression and simple working method as a traditional mud paint, but with significantly better technical properties and longer durability. Thanks to the fact that the paint is completely open to diffusion, no dense paint film is formed on the facade, which allows the wood to breathe naturally and moisture is vented out safely.

The great advantage of Falu Fasad is its unique adhesion to substrates where regular red paint does not adhere. It can be painted directly on both sawn, planed and pressure-impregnated wood (that has been exposed to the weather for at least one year), which makes it ideal for, for example, knots, lining, wind boards and modern extensions to older mud-painted house parts. Unlike traditional mud paint, Falu Fasad does not chalk over time, which provides an extended repainting interval and a cleaner result that does not smear.

The paint does not require a separate primer and is applied quickly and easily. When repainting on a previously mud-painted surface, it is sufficient to brush away loose pigments and paint layers with a wire brush before painting. For environmental safety, the product is also registered and approved according to the BASTA system's strict health and environmental criteria.
