Description

Falu Vapen Falu Fasad represents the modern generation of red paint, designed to give your house the timeless, traditional expression without compromising on durability. The paint combines the beautiful, fully matt and vibrant aesthetics of the classic mud paint with the superior adhesion and weather resistance of the modern alkyd oil emulsion.

Since the paint is fully diffusion-open, it allows the wooden panel to breathe naturally, which effectively prevents trapped moisture and minimizes the risk of the paint film cracking or peeling. Unlike traditional red paint, Falu Fasad does not chalk when touched. This results in significantly longer maintenance intervals, cleaner facade surfaces and a considerably smoother preparation for future repainting.

Application is as simple as it is time-efficient; neither primer nor separate primer is needed, but you paint directly onto the substrate. In addition, the paint offers exceptional flexibility by adhering excellently to both sawn and planed and pressure-impregnated wood, as well as to previously mud-painted facades.

Painting Instructions & Substrates

  • Wooden substrate: Brush off loose dust and apply directly without primer.
  • Previously red-painted: Steel brush off loose sludge paint thoroughly before painting. When changing color, a completely clean wooden substrate is recommended.
  • Pressure-impregnated: Must have dried and been exposed to the weather outdoors for at least one year before application.
