Description
This high-quality inspection hatch is constructed from galvanized sheet steel and is specifically designed for environments where fire safety and aesthetics are prioritized. The hatch is powder-coated in a classic white color (NCS S 0500-N) with a gloss level of 30, allowing it to blend discreetly into most interior environments.
Technical Features and Fire Rating
The hatch is insulated with a 40 mm fire board and is type-approved by SiTAC and SP Fire Research according to BBR (fire technical class EI301 and EI302). It is equipped with a stable piano hinge and a screwdriver lock for secure closure. The frame is easily installed in walls or ceilings using the included clamping brackets, adapted for board thicknesses between 25–30 mm.
Applications
Perfect for inspection and maintenance access, such as valves, ventilation dampers, and pipe runs. The hatch is also available as an option to meet requirements for cold (Sa) and warm (S200) smoke gases.
