The Metro Therm Cabinet 160 E is an excellent and cost-effective alternative to peak the capacity of your existing heat pump. The volume of 160 liters is enough to fill an entire bathtub or for 5-6 three-minute showers. Thanks to an efficient immersion heater, the heater also recovers very quickly.

The obvious choice for households with their own well

This is the optimal hot water heater for areas with hard and lime-rich water, such as on Öland, Gotland, Österlen, Uppsala and Norrtälje, or for those with their own well.

• Glass-enameled steel: The water tank is protected by a durable, enamelled pressure vessel steel with indirect heating that provides maximum protection against corrosion.
• Protected immersion heater: The 3 kW immersion heater is cleverly mounted in a protective tube, making it significantly less susceptible to limescale formation and extending its service life considerably.

Flexible installation and technical advantages

The Metro Therm Cabinet 160 E offers a compact and flexible installation. It can be easily mounted on the wall with the included wall brackets, or placed on the floor with a leg stand (available as an accessory). Are you short of space? The heater can also be installed horizontally (lying on its back), which reduces the volume by approximately 25%.

Important specifications and included accessories

• Complete fitting set included: Supplied with safety valve, mixing valve and shut-off valve.
• Flexible electrical connection: Adapted for fixed electrical installation against 2-phase (3 kW) for maximum power and fast recovery. Can also be connected to 1-phase with a plug (then gives an output of 1 kW).
• Corrosion protection: Equipped with a magnesium anode that should be checked every two years. For extremely chloride or manganese-rich water, the anode can be easily replaced with an electric titanium anode.

Tips for choosing a water heater: The enamelled protection works best at a pH value between 6 and 9 and a chloride content below 250 mg Cl/l. If your water has a very high pH value, we recommend a stainless steel water heater from the Metro Therm or Focus range instead.
