Description

NIBE UKV 100 is a high-quality expansion vessel and an accumulator tank developed to be connected to heat pump systems. By adding extra volume to the heating system, a smoother, more economical and gentle operation of the heat pump is ensured over time. The vessel also effectively counteracts the temporary thermal sags and noise that can occur as a result of temperature changes and stresses in the pipelines.

Optimized operation and increased volume for heat pumps

A heating system with sufficient water volume gives the heat pump better operating conditions, fewer start and stop cycles and an extended compressor life. NIBE UKV 100 functions as a volume expander that ensures that the system has the flow required to operate at maximum efficiency.

Effective flow equalizer and temperature equalizer

In addition to increasing the total amount of water, the tank functions as a stabilizing link between the heat source and the distribution system. It balances flows and temperatures evenly, which minimizes the risk of thermal stresses in pipes and elements and creates a quiet and pleasant indoor environment free from cracking noises.

Flexible series for modern climate systems

The UKV series from NIBE offers sizes of 40, 100, 200, 300 and 500 liters to suit different types of properties and needs. For installations with active cooling, the condensation-insulated models UKV 200 or UKV 300 are recommended, while the larger model UKV 500 has removable insulation for easier transport and installation in tight spaces.
