Description

NIBE UKV 300 is a versatile, condensation-insulated expansion vessel and accumulator tank that is primarily connected to heat pumps to increase the system's water volume. By adding extra volume, the operating conditions and service life of the heat pump are significantly improved while unevenness in the system is effectively balanced. The design also counteracts thermal stresses and minimizes the temporary heat shock that can occur when the pipelines move during temperature changes. Thanks to carefully designed condensation insulation, the NIBE UKV 300 is ideally suited for modern climate systems that combine both heating and active cooling.

Volume expansion and optimal heat pump operation

For heat pump systems, a sufficient water volume is crucial for the compressor to work with smooth, long operating cycles. NIBE UKV 300 supplies 270 liters of usable volume, which reduces unnecessary start and stop cycles, saves energy and contributes to a stable indoor temperature all year round.

Flow and temperature equalization without thermal shocks

When the supply temperature varies, the pipes expand and contract, which often causes disturbing noises and shocks in the property's radiator system. As a flow and temperature equalizer, this equalization vessel dampens rapid temperature changes and creates a pleasant, quiet and reliable indoor climate.

Adapted for active cooling and flexible climate systems

The condensation-insulated casing ensures problem-free operation even when the system is running in cooling mode during hot summer months. The insulation prevents condensation from forming on the outside of the container and makes the unit fully adapted for both central heating, cooling applications and integration with external heat sources.
