Description

NIBE safety valve is a central protection component developed to ensure operational safety in water-borne heating systems, boilers and heat pump installations. The valve continuously monitors the internal pressure and opens in a controlled manner at an operating pressure of 3 bar. This function effectively prevents harmful overpressure that could otherwise strain the piping, expansion vessels and connected components in the heating circuit.

Dezincification-resistant brass for maximum service life

The valve body is made of dezincification-resistant brass (DZR / CW602N) combined with durable multi-material components. The choice of material prevents corrosion and ensures stable mechanical function over a long period of time. The right-angled geometry facilitates installation in compact spaces, for example inside heat pumps or in connection with narrow distribution pipes.

Smooth pipe connection and flexible installation

The valve inlet has an external cylindrical thread according to standard G15 (ISO 228-1, 1/2 inch) with integrated sealing ring for a secure and leak-free connection. The valve outlet is equipped with a 15 mm compression ring connection, which makes it easy to connect a waste pipe that leads any expansion water directly to the floor drain.

Installation and safety procedures

When installing, place the valve in an upright or suitably angled position where the manual rotary knob remains easily accessible for regular inspection. The discharge pipe from the compression fitting should be pulled with a continuous slope and open visibly over a drain without risk of freezing or blockage. Regular exercise of the valve mechanism via the rotary knob helps to keep the valve seat clean of dirt and particles.
