Description

The NIBE right-angled safety valve is a central safety component specially adapted for domestic hot water systems, water heaters and associated pipe installations. The valve is calibrated for an opening pressure of 9 bar and automatically relieves the system if the pressure rises above the established safety limit. This protects pipes, connections and heating equipment against potentially harmful pressure surges and thermal expansion.

Dezincification-resistant brass for demanding water environments

The design is based on dezincification-resistant brass (DZR) and durable multi-material components. DZR brass is specially developed to counteract corrosion caused by aggressive or chlorinated tap water, which reduces the risk of material weakening over time. This makes the valve a long-term and reliable choice for stable water installations in properties.

Right-angled design and space-efficient installation

With a compact external dimension of 54 x 71 x 30 mm and a right-angled geometry, the valve is ideal for installations where space around the water heater or distribution pipe is limited. The black rotary handle allows for easy manual function control and exercise of the valve seat, which helps to keep the mechanism free of limescale and deposits.

Connection with external thread and compression fitting

The inlet consists of an external cylindrical G-thread (ISO 228-1) in dimension G15 (1/2 inch) which ensures a tight and stable connection to the system. The outlet is equipped with a 15 mm compression fitting for easy connection to a waste pipe or drain funnel, which facilitates a clean and correct installation.
