NIBE VPB 500 is a high-performance and copper-lined water heater and accumulator tank, designed to meet high demands for hot water comfort and energy-efficient operation. The model has a wide range of applications and is optimized for smooth connection to heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, air-to-water heat pumps and gas or oil boilers. With a well-thought-out design and generous volume, abundant access to hot water is ensured in properties with extensive consumption.

Durable copper lining for long-term corrosion protection

The vessel in the NIBE VPB 500 is made of steel with an internal corrosion protection of high-quality copper. This proven surface treatment provides reliable and long-lasting protection against corrosion in most water conditions, which contributes to a clean, fresh hot water supply and a long technical life for the system.

Advanced insulation for minimal energy losses

To minimize idle losses and keep energy consumption at a very low level, the tank is equipped with modern insulation consisting of neopor and polyester fleece. This combination provides exceptionally good thermal insulation and meets high environmental requirements. Both the insulation and the durable outer cladding are easily removable, which makes transport, loading and installation in tight spaces much easier.

Parallel connection and flexible capacity for large needs

The NIBE VPB 500 has a net volume of 486 liters and provides an available hot water volume of 590 liters at 40 °C. In installations where the need for hot water is exceptionally large, several units can be easily connected in parallel. This makes the system modular and scalable for larger properties, apartment buildings and businesses that require a reliable hot water solution.
