Installation tips for Toilet handle Diameter 50mm

• Check the lock box: Make sure that the interior door lock box has a square rower hole for toilet handle (usually 8×8 mm or 5×5 mm with the included bushing/rower pin) under the door handle hole.
• Remove existing key plate: Unscrew and remove the old key plates or the previous handle from both sides of the door. Clean the door surface of any dust and dirt before installation.
• Adjust the rower pin length: Insert the square pin through the door and lock box. If necessary, measure against the door thickness so that the pin bottoms correctly in both handles without sticking out too far or pressing against the locking mechanism. Cut with a hacksaw if necessary.
• Positioning the knob and red/white marking: Install the knob with the locking knob on the inside of the toilet and the emergency knob/sign with red/white indication (or emergency lock groove) on the outside.
• Cut the fastening screws to the correct length: Measure the thickness of the door and cut or saw the through screws at one of the finished break marks, so that they do not bottom out in the sleeve nut before the rosette is firmly seated against the door leaf.
• Install with through screw: Insert the screws from one side through the door leaf hole and the screw hole in the lock box, and secure them in the corresponding sleeves/screw holes on the opposite side.
• Tighten symmetrically: Tighten the screws evenly alternately from both sides so that the roses (Ø50 mm) end up straight and centered over the holes without damaging the door surface.
• Function test before closing: Turn the knob several times with the door open to check that the bolt moves in and out smoothly without binding, and test that the emergency opening on the outside works smoothly with a coin or screwdriver.
