Description

NIBE EKS 1000 is a robust and high-performance accumulator tank designed to handle extensive domestic hot water needs with high operational reliability. The tank has a generous water reservoir and works excellently as a pure accumulator for hot water, either in conjunction with a charge exchanger or in combination with an immersion heater as flexible backup. The design is specially developed for properties with recurring, large bursts of water during short time intervals. By storing large amounts of thermal energy, the property's total peak power requirement is reduced, which enables a lower installed electrical output and thus a more balanced and economical energy operation.

To maintain high efficiency, the tank is equipped with modern, environmentally friendly, high-quality insulation that keeps heat losses to a minimum. The insulating jacket is completely removable, which facilitates transport, carrying in through standard doors and easy placement in tight installation spaces.
