Description

The NIBE K11 junction box is a robust control and safety unit developed for direct mounting on R50 immersion heaters with a maximum output of up to 10,500 W. The unit combines a precise 2-pole 2-stage thermostat with a reliable 3-pole temperature limiter, which provides optimal temperature control and safe operation in water-borne heating systems, storage tanks and electric boilers.

Well-thought-out design and durable materials

The junction box is built with a base part in durable cast aluminum and a protective cover in durable, dimensionally stable plastic. This material combination provides excellent protection against external influences and ensures good heat dissipation around the electrical connections. On the front is a clear knob for temperature setting between 30 and 90 degrees Celsius and an integrated reset button for the temperature limiter.

Efficient temperature control in two stages

Thanks to the built-in 2-pole 2-stage thermostat, the power is controlled in a smooth and energy-efficient way, which reduces the load on the system and evens out energy consumption. If the water temperature for any reason exceeds the permitted safety level, the 3-pole temperature limiter cuts off all power supply immediately, which prevents boiling and protects the system.
